I liked the idea of Mundane Meals: ordinary, everyday, and straightforward. I decided I liked the sound of "humdrum" which means dull and monotonous. I've been a system administrator on call long enough to crave technology that is dull, even monotonous because excitement is not good when you are on call.
I know that new and exciting sells (or at least has marketing), but in the end, we all need dull and reliable like the old Bell System with its "five nines" of reliability.
